• <H2> Glitter Candle Holder
• <H5> Everyone loves glitter, right?….Right? Well if you’re like me and you love to experiment with different craft supplies, you’ll know how fun it is to create with glitter. In just a few simple steps, you can make these beautiful glitter candle holders.
• <H5> Great for a romantic evening in, adorable center pieces for a wedding, anything you could think of. Different color combinations for different moods, I personally made red and gold, to go with the decor in my space.
• <H5> 
• <H4> SUPPLIES:
• <H4>  Glass container (Try your local dollar store!) Glitter Modge Podge (You can make your own, click here for a DIY Modge Podge) Masking Tape/Paint Tape
• <H5> Step 1: Taking your glass container and masking tape/paint tape, make the design in which you would like your glitter to be. I did mine diagonal.
• <H5> Step 2: Once you got your design taped onto your glass container, Use your modge podge on the part where you want your glitter.
• <H5> 
• <H5> Step 3: Now you can take your glitter, make sure you have a tray or something underneath so you don’t make a mess, and just dust where you put the modge podge. Once your done, give it a bit of a tap to get off the excess glitter.
• <H5> Step 4: Carefully pull the tape off and you have your finished glitter candle holder. Let it dry, pop in a tea light and you’re set!
• <H5> Now you could add a varnish clear coat, on top of the sparkle layer just to seal them in there, but if you don’t plan on rough handling them that often you should be fine! • <H2> DIY Modge Podge
• <H5> Did you ever want a substitute to the expensive modge podge you find at stores? I did, i didn’t want to pay the price for a little bottle that gets used up in a craft or two. Ever since finding the magical substance that is DIY modge podge, I’ve used it in many crafts, many times! Let’s get to the fun part, the mixing! For this type of modge podge we only need two main ingredients, anything extra is up to you! Plus a container, of course. (I used Mason Jars, you can grab them from the link, cheaper than i got mine.)
• <H4> SUPPLIES:
• <H4>      Container
• <H4>      Water
• <H4>      Elmer’s Glue
• <H5> Step 1: Measure out one cup of water and pour it into your container, in my case I used a mason jar.
• <H5> Step 2: Measure out one cup of Elmer’s glue and pour into the container with the water. Once you do this, lid your container and shake til mixed. Then we’re done! It’s ready to use. Easy. Cheap. DIY Modge Podge
• <H4> Not that shiny?
• <H5> This recipe will produce clear results but can go on looking a bit white. Don’t worry, it wont dry that way, it dries in a nice clear matte finish. Now as much as we all enjoy a matte finish, sometimes we just want that beautiful shine. To achieve this you want to add 1-2 tablespoons of water based varnish. Depending on desired results, do some experimenting to get desired results.
• <H4> Not thick enough?
• <H5> If the recipe is too runny for you, you can maybe omit about 1/2 cup of water or maybe even less than that. Something else you can experiment with. I still found mine sticky enough with the 1 cup of water, but planned on testing out using less water!
• <H4> Where is the glitter?
• <H5> I mean, if you don’t enjoy glitter, what kind of sad life do you live! Ok, maybe I have too much fun with it, guilty! Mixing some fine glitter powder into your modge podge can result in very beautiful things. I’d start off with less, and work your way up to how glittery you want. I think this would be beautiful paired with the varnish for a beautiful shine and glimmer to any project!
• <H4> Can I water it though?
• <H5> Doing some research, I have some people say getting it wet is fine, some say no. I am not entirely 100% sure myself. I don’t use this on projects I’m going to get wet, or ones I know are going to get wet for any reason.
